About “Insomniac”

Insomniac is Enrique Iglesias’s eighth studio album, and fourth English album, released on June 11, 2007 via Interscope Records. Although the album is primarily English, there are a few Spanish versions of three songs on the album. A total of four official singles were released from the album: “Do You Know? (The Ping Pong Song)”, “Somebody’s Me”, “Tired of Being Sorry”, “Push”.

“Insomniac” Q&A

  • Why was the album named "Insomniac"?

I’ve always had insomnia, since I was a kid. I’m a nervous person, so it takes me a long time to go to sleep. It sucks. I think it’s genetic. My mom has it. I remember growing up with my dad, he’d never go to sleep until 5 o'clock in the morning.
