A Fever Dream

A Fever Dream is the fourth studio album by Everything Everything, released on August 18, 2017. Lead single “Can’t Do” was revealed on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show on June 14, 2017.

The album artwork depicts a mass of people in a circle, thrashing against one another. In a Reddit AMA, lead singer Jonathan Higgs said:

The artwork is a mass of people, all stuck together and trying to pull apart. it was mean[t] to to [sic] be a kind of nightmarish dream, and a metaphor for the country, or the west, the division we are all feeling right now, pulling away from each other but ultimately conjoined – in it together. we wanted it to be beautiful and horrific and kind of dreamy and trippy, hot red and feverish, in the dark but warm and alive.
