Optimist (Deluxe) came out on October 14th,2022 the first-year anniversary of the regular edition of the album.

Originally The Abby Road Performance of the song “Love Is Pain” was recorded as a music video performance for the eventually canceled “Big Climate Thing Festival” in 2022. It was then moved to release on October 14th, 2022 alongside the other recordings from the Abby Road Recording studios that were recorded during the time frame of Billie Eilish’s 2022 Residency / Overheated Climate Conference at the O2 in London. All the base tracks of the album are unchanged with the addition 3 Exclusive Acoustics from “Optimist” and 1 cover of The Beatle’s song of “ Fool On The Hill” in possible homage to the Abby Road Studios being the site of recording or because both Billie Eilish and FINNEAS as well as their father, Patrick, and Mother, Maggie are big fans of the Beatles as they enjoyed them on mixtapes that were created for them in their youth.
