Gentlewoman, Ruby Man

After meeting at a Lee Hazelwood tribute show in London in 2015, and singing “Some Velvet Morning”, English singer-songwriter Flo Morrissey and American musician and producer Matthew E. White teamed up in 2016 to record this album of covers. They cover an unlikely collection of songs ranging from Frankie Valli’s “Grease,” to Leonard Cohen’s “Suzanne,” to Little Wings' “Look At What the Light Did Now.” The two singers are supported by the Spacebomb House Band.

The album was accompanied by a short documentary.
