Fleetwood Mac’s tenth studio album is considered a classic by fans and critics alike, and is possibly their most essential album next to Rumours.

Teased with singles “Over My Head” and “Say You Love Me”, the album introduces a much softer, warmer sound, as alluded to on the now-iconic ballad “Landslide.”

Fleetwood Mac would end up being the band’s last release under their Reprise label, as they were picked up by Warner Bros following the success of this LP.

The majority of the songs on the album were written before new members (guitarist Lindsey Buckingham and vocalist Stevie Nicks) were recruited.
