Endless (DVD/VHS Version)

Frank Ocean

About “Endless (DVD/VHS Version)”

On Cyber Monday, November 27, 2017, blonded released Frank Ocean’s Endless in physical audio & visual formats, made available for purchase on their website, blonded.co. The limited, remastered reissue included a DVD & VHS release of the visual album.

The DVD & VHS reissues are nearly identical to the original Apple Music release; however, the title sequence displayed at the film’s end is altered, with notable differences in the album’s track listings & credits. The DVD/VHS tracklist reveals the previously unlisted tracks “Xenons,” “Walk Away” (otherwise known as the last 19 seconds of “Hublots”), and “Mitsu-Sony,” while the songs Ambience 001: “In a Certain Way” and Ambience 002: “Honeybaby” are absent from the list.

The DVD is packaged alongside an audio CD version of the visual album, inside a two-disc jewel case. The VHS is packaged in a standard slipcase with an open bottom to access the video cassette. Text on the front of the DVD release reads, “New improved full-dimensional stereo,” indicating a remastered audio experience compared to its original release, and “602557139785,” the catalog number & barcode of the reissue. Neither release is outwardly marked with copyright information nor branding.

The CD+DVD sold for $25.00 and shipped in April 2018; the VHS sold for $17.99 and shipped in February 2018.
