About “Absolute Garbage”

Absolute Garbage is Garbage’s first compilation of hits, released in 2007. It was the band’s last release under A&E/Warner Bros., serving to fit their contract with the label. It includes most but not all of the band’s singles (four are absent; “Androgyny” and “Breaking Up the Girl” do come up in a special edition featuring the “Garbage Mixes” remix extra disk; “Run Baby Run” and “The Trick Is to Keep Breathing” are downright left off), a new specially recorded track, “Tell Me Where It Hurts” (another from the same sessions, “All the Good in this Life”, is an iTunes bonus track) and a remix of the Bleed Like Me track “It’s All Over But the Crying”.
