J Balvin & Bad Bunny - OASIS (English Translation)

Oasis is a collaborative album between Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny and Colombian artist J Balvin.

In May 2018, in an interview with Ebro Darden for Beats 1, J Balvin said that he had 6 or 7 songs with Bad Bunny and that there was the possibility of an album. He then added that the name would be “Oasis,” meaning that it is special, like a landscape that stands out in the middle of a desert.

Then in September 2018, in an interview with Angel “El Guru” Vera for Complex, Bad Bunny and J Balvin confirmed the existence of the project. The two said that the purpose of the album is to refresh, bring relief with new sounds.

Then in June 2019, again in an interview for Beats 1, but now with Zane Lowe and alongside Bad Bunny, J Balvin talked about how hard it was to keep the album a secret in the interview with Ebro:
