H5 (unofficial title), is the fifth studio album from American singer-songwriter Halsey. Mid-April, it was reported Halsey had parted ways with their former record label, Capitol Records. On April 29, 2023, Halsey posted to their Instagram story a photo of them in the studio saying;

and I didn’t even have to ask permission

In a informing Tumblr post, Halsey confirmed they have started working on new music saying;

I want you to know that I am hard at work… I am working on some of my favorite stuff I’ve ever conjured… This feels like my debut all over again, in some ways.

On June 14, 2023 it was announced that Halsey had officially signed with Columbia Records. Halsey released a website titled FOR MY LAST TRICK, in promotion for the album on January 27, 2024 after a show in Mumbai, India.

The album follows after Halsey’s fourth studio album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, released in August of 2021.

The potential lead single, “So Good” was released June 9, 2022.
