If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power (Extended)

About “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power (Extended)”

If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power (Extended) is the extended/deluxe edition of Halsey’s fourth studio album, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power. The extended version of the album was released onto streaming services on January 3, 2022, almost five months after the original album’s release on August 27, 2021.

This extended edition includes three extra tracks, turning the original thirteen tracks on the album to sixteen.

“Nightmare” is one of the three bonus tracks. The song is a single from May 2019 that wasn’t on any albums until now.
Its reprise is also a bonus track. The differences from the original being that this version omits the intro, and it is produced by the album’s producers, Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor, instead of the original’s producers. The reprise was first found on IICHL,IWP’s Walmart exclusive edition.

The final bonus track is “People disappear here.” It is the only fully original bonus track to be included on the extended edition. The song was first found on IICHL,IWP’s Target exclusive edition.

Strangely, the extended edition does not include the Target exclusive edition of the album’s second bonus track, “Gasoline (Reimagined) [Live].” The exclusion of “Gasoline (Reimagined) [Live]” means that the track is therefore not available for streaming at this time.
