Feel Something Tracklist
Feel Something is Jaymes Young’s debut full-length album after releasing EPs Dark Star in 2013 and Habits of My Heart in 2014. The album was released on June 23, 2017.
Young talked to Billboard about his debut album. He explained how the title track sets the tone for the rest of the record:
A lot of the music that I have put out in the past focused more on negative emotions or melancholy stuff and I just wanted to as a theme feel something. Embracing all those feelings and that’s what I tried to do on the album. I would say there’s definitely some more uplifting sounds and ideas on the album as opposed to what I put out in the past. It really just sums it up in those two words [Feel Something].

What has the artist said about this album?
In his Billboard interview, Jaymes Young described his debut album Feel Something as an important step in his career. He said he put pressure on himself by expecting that he would create something better than his previous songs.
The entire album process was a huge learning curve for me, because I expected higher quality in all aspects from recording to production to writing.
