About “Changes”

Changes is Justin Bieber’s fifth studio album, released on February 14, 2020, coinciding with Valentine’s Day. Bieber first teased new music with an Instagram post in October 2019 asking for twenty million likes to release a new record before Christmas.

From December 20 to 31, 2019, Bieber posted five dates on his Instagram, December 24, 31, and January 3, 4, and 7.

On December 24, 2019, Bieber uploaded a trailer for the album where he also revealed the lead single, “Yummy” and its release date, tour dates, and a docuseries.

On December 31, 2019, he released a trailer for his weekly, ten-part YouTube Original docuseries Justin Bieber: Seasons debuting on January 27, 2020.

On January 3, 2020, the album’s lead single “Yummy” was released, accompanied by a lyric video. The track’s official music video was released the day after on January 4.

On January 27, 2020, Bieber appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, when he accidentally let slip the release date of the album. The album’s only promotional single, “Get Me,” featuring R&B singer Kehlani, was released on January 28, 2020. On the same day, Bieber also announced the title of the album, as well as making it available for pre-order .

On February 5, 2020, Spotify announced the full tracklist via an Instagram filter. On the same day, Bieber later revealed the tracklist in a tweet.

On February 7, 2020, the album’s second and final single “Intentions,” featuring friend and Migos rapper Quavo, was released, accompanied by its official music video.
