DISCO (Deluxe)

DISCO is the fifteenth studio album by Kylie Minogue, released on November 6, 2020 via BMG.

Kylie first began work on the album shortly after the release of her 2019 greatest hits collection. In an interview with GQ Magazine in May 2020, she described the album as “grown-up disco. [It’s] difficult even for me to explain […] But even grown-ups need some pure pop fun.”

I loved disco as an eight-year-old, so it’s been a long love affair. I’m loving the modern interpretations of the genre now. There’s a lot of early 2000s love around at the moment. Both feel like good times for me, so I’m channelling that into this record.

The album’s title and cover art were released early by Amazon Italy on July 21; an official announcement came later that day.

Its lead single, “Say Something,” was released on July 23. The second single, “Magic,” followed on September 24.

Beginning on October 4, 2020, Minogue started teasing the titles of the albums tracks, posting them on her various different social channels. On October 8, Kylie posted an Instagram video, revealing all track names and the order in which they appear.
