Wake Up & It’s Over Tracklist
Wake Up & It’s Over is Lovejoy’s third EP, released on May 12th, 2023, nearly two years after their last large project, Pebble Brain.
The lead single, “Call Me What You Like”, was released on February 10, 2023, confirming the EP’s title with the cover art. The track saw global success, and even charted in the UK at number 32.
The tracklist for the record was first put out as a puzzle on the band’s official “leak” account, which fans scrambled to solve. A series of three-digit numbers was added to the account’s banner, with each number being the sum of every track’s title—the letters in the titles each have a number value that correlates to their positions in the alphabet.
The account would later change its bio to “7̵̡̪7̵̨͌&̷̢͕1̴̢̮0̴̨̯8̵̨̖” which reinforced fans' beliefs that the “wu&io” acronym stood for Wake Up & It’s Over.
During a live gig in London, March 2023, the band released confetti while performing the track “Call Me What You Like” from the EP, which contained a QR code to a website confirming the release date for the EP.
One day before the EP’s release, the band revealed via their Instagram story that the highly anticipated track “It’s Golden Hour Somewhere” would also be included on the EP as the sixth and final track.

How did the EP do on the UK charts?
On the official UK Charts, it was predicted mid-week to debut at #2, but officially debuted at #5.

We’ve worked very hard on this project, so it’s incredibly validating to see it received well by so many people. [The reception] has been amazing. I hope we can get our foot across the line into the top 10 with this release, and that our audience will love our future releases just as much.
