Mad Season, is the second studio album from American rock band Matchbox Twenty, released on May 23, 2000. Unlike their debut album, You or Someone Like You, the album has more of a pop-rock feel to it.
Commercially, the album entered and peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart with first week sales of 365,000 copies.
A total of six singles were released from the album: “Bent”, “If You’re Gone”, “Crutch”, “Mad Season (Come Undone)”, “Angry”, and “Last Beautiful Girl”. Out of all the singles, “Bent” became the highest peaking single on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching the top spot. It marks their first and only song to reach #1 on the chart.
