About “Singles”

Created as a replacement/companion for “Substance”, “Singles” is a comprehensive collection of ALL of New Order’s singles up through “Waiting For the Siren’s Call”.

The two disc album is notable for being the official CD debut of the original 7' versions of Temptation, Confusion, and Everything Goes Green; all three were omitted from Substance, with Temptation and Confusion re-recorded from scratch for that record, while the 12 inch version of Everything Goes Green included instead. It also featured a rarely heard version of Ceremony, recorded by the band prior to Gilian Gilbert joining the band.
