At the time of its release, the album went by two names: Let Me Be There in Australia, and Music Makes My Day in the United Kingdom. Commercially, the album peaked at #54 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States, making it her highest peaking album on the chart at the time.
A total of two singles were released from the album: “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” originally recorded by John Denver and “Let Me Be There.”
