Eye of the Storm

Eye of the Storm follows similar lines to previous album Ambitions. After ONE OK ROCK’s international success, their music drifted to a more westernised sound that is especially noticeable in this album. In addition, two versions of the album were released. An international version entirely in English, featuring exclusive song Unforgettable and a Japanese version featuring exclusive song Can’t Wait.

This is the international version, which was released on February 15th, two days after the Japanese version.

The album features an overall lighter sound compared to the band’s older works. There seems to be a larger emphasis on vocals and anthem-like choruses, reflecting the band’s shift towards a Western sound.
