The album is notable for its rebellious and political messages; also notable is the album cover, which is a lightly edited photo of Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thích Quảng Đức during his self-immolation in 1963.
It peaked at #45 on the Billboard 200, and at #1 on the Heatseekers Chart.
