¿Dónde Están Los Ladrones? is the fourth studio album by Shakira. The album’s title is inspired by Shakira getting her luggage stolen during
a trip to Bogotá, which had most of the material for her next album. The record was a major success as it peaked at number one-hundred thirty-one on the Billboard 200, and topped the Billboard Top Latin and Latin Pop Albums charts. Six singles were released for the album, such as “Ciega, Sordomuda” and “No Creo”.
The record has received many certifications, such as platinum by the RIAA, triple platinum by ASINCOL, and five-times platinum by CAPIF. It was nominated at the Grammy Awards for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album.
¿Dónde están los ladrones? fue #496 en la lista de 2020 de la revista Rolling Stone de los “500 mejores álbumes de todos los tiempos”.
