About “Waste Management”

Waste Management, released on December 15, 2009, is the third English-language album, and sixth overall album, by Russian pop group t.A.T.u.

Despite many people saying the album is the best effort the group ever made, and the three singles released (Snowfalls, White Robe, and Sparks) it went virtually unnoticed by many except the group’s fans.

It was released a year after the Russian version of the album, Vesyolye Ulybki (“Happy Smiles”, released October 21, 2008).

Fun fact: Waste Management was originally going to be the title of Happy Smiles, and unlike their previous albums, every song on Happy Smiles has an English counterpart on Waste Management.
