About “ATLAS (Deluxe)”

ATLAS is The Score’s first studio album. They have had four EP’s released since 2015 which are Where Do You Run EP, Unstoppable EP, Myths & Legends EP, and most recent Stripped however, Stripped was taken off most music services because every song was on ATLAS (Deluxe).

In an interview with Eddie and Edan, uploaded to their YouTube channel, they discussed the inspiration for writing the album and why “Atlas” became the title:

So on our debut album, we really wanted to expand on the Myths & Legends EP… The Myths & Legends EP was like the nucleus of the idea for this album, and we built it from there, explored different themes… the title has to do with the struggle that comes with pursuing your dreams and the weight that comes with that…

Atlas was a titan that fought against the Olympians in the Titanomachy. After losing, he was condemned by Zeus to stand on the western side of the earth and hold the sky for the rest of eternity. This album shows how people trying to break the mold sometimes feel like the weight of the world is on their shoulders.

The Score announced on May 29th through a livestream on their Instagram that they would go on their biggest headlining tour, labeled “Revolution”, for ATLAS later in 2018. They also announced THE ORPHAN THE POET and birthday would be joining them on tour.
