The King & Eye is an album by The Residents which mostly consists of covers of Elvis Presley songs. The name is a play on the musical The King and I–Elvis was known as “the King”, and The Residents are known for their anonymity, usually appearing in public and playing concerts while wearing eyeball masks. The album is from the perspective of a father telling fairy tales to his children about a legendary “baby king” and his adventures.
