Vampire Weekend

Vampire Weekend’s self-titled debut was released in 2008, just two years after the fledgling band graduated college. Rife with catchy guitar riffs and memorable lyrics, Vampire Weekend was generally well-reviewed and launched the band into indie rock stardom.

Although their afro-pop sound got phased out through Contra and Modern Vampires Of The City, this is the album where that sound and their unabashed preppiness is on full display.
