If You Don’t Like the Story Write Your Own

If You Don’t Like The Story You Should Write Your Own is Witt Lowry’s 5th studio album, following his previous release, Nevers Road, if you don’t like the story write your own brings back similar themes from his previous albums, along with giving us brand new material and a new style of production. The first song released for the album was How Should I Feel released in September of 2021, with the second single, If you don’t like the story write your own released in October of 2022. Following this was the third single, Nights Like This that came out later that month. The fourth single, The War I’m Scared to Face, came out November 2022 with the fifth and final single Doesn’t Feel The Same following a month later in early December 2022, only two days prior to the album release.
