Coochie Chronicles

Coochie Chronicles is the third studio album from YN Jay. It serves as his second release of the year, following up January’s Ninja Warrior and his final independent release, as Jay soon got signed to Alamo Records and Sony Music Entertainment.

Jay first teased the album back on May 10, 2021 sharing the album’s cover art on his Instagram page. He later teased the album again, revealing the album title and announcing that the album would be on the way. The cover art pays homage to the 1973 movie, The Mack. It was designed by EBDGN.

On May 18, 2021, Jay teased his fans on Instagram, revealing a June release date.

On June 19th, 2021, Jay announced to his fans that he needed someone to remake the cover art to the album, due to copyright issues.

After teasing his fans about potential new cover arts for the album, on June 21, 2021, Jay revealed the official cover art of the album, which was a modified version of the original cover art, as well as announcing a June 30th release date.

The album was later re-released on July 16, 2021, through Alamo and Sony, with an additional track. “Magic Stick,” added into the tracklist.
