Jimmy Soul

Jimmy Soul was born in Harlem in 1942 and become a preacher at the age of seven. After performing with gospel groups including touring the country with the Nightingales, he made the switch to rock and roll and performed regularly at the Azalea Gardens in Norfolk, Virginia.
