Mario François Duplantier (born 19 June 1981) is a French-American musician who is best known as the drummer of heavy metal band Gojira, which he co-founded with his brother Joe. Known for his technicality and precision, he has established himself as one of metal’s most creative and powerful drummers throughout Gojira’s rise to fame.
Duplantier is also a drawer and painter, having an art exhibit hosted in 2010.
