Pao Madrid is a singer-songwriter from Quezon City, Philippines. Originally from the province of Cagayan de Oro, he started out with cover songs, but soon discovered his love and skill for lyrics and melodies through FlipMusic.
He’s penned lyrics for other singers and groups like Nadine Lustre, Jay R, Alden Richards, Yassi Pressman, Pow Chavez, Julian Trono, Nitro, Pop Girls, CH4RMD, and Chicser.
With musical influences from Craig David, Justin Timberlake, Crystal Kay, Charlie Puth, and Brandy; he’s now more than ready to write songs for himself, and showcase his own sound and artistry. Showing that he’s more than just cover songs, he’s also passionate about contributing to OPM; to solidify and revolutionize the music scene with FlipMusic Records, his mother label and musical family. In this generation, it’s high time that the local scene maximize its spotlight and celebrate Original Pilipino Music.
