I can understand that. My teacher used to make jokes because I said I liked the Beatles. I just got “Bon Iver – Bon Iver” on vinyl. I recommend starting there. Justin wrote and recorded the whole thing alone in a secluded cabin in the middle of winter and that’s exactly what it feels like. If you like that then try “Chicago – Sufjan Stevens” or “Carrie & Lowell – Sufjan Stevens”. “22, a million – Bon Iver” is way more experimental but if you like it then you should try “Age of Adz – Sufjan Stevens” and anything by Francis & The Lights. FJM is pretty much good to start anywhere. I suggest “Pure Comedy – FJM” and the title track.
