I don’t know how much of a thing this is at this point but hidden songs on an album used to be some mind blowing shit to me. Looking at your CD like KRS-One at the playground, hyped there’s more songs than you thought. Cause we used to think more songs on an album was a good thing and all that. LL Cool J had an acapella freestyle on Radio which is probably the first of these as far as rap music goes. Sometimes these were tracks off other albums like the Welcome 2 Atlanta remix made it onto a Luda album. There’s other genres and shit but I don’t specialize in them. • Lyrical Exercise and Girls Girls Girls (remix) off The Blueprint

• Wanksta from the 8 Mile Soundtrack, Ya Life’s On The Line off Power of the Dollar and loose single U Not Like Me originally distributed from Full Clip records and later placed on Get Rich or Die Tryin'

• Killaz Theme off Cormega’s The Realness although The Testament’s version is superior. But Mega didn’t own the masters to it at the time.

• Born Alone, Die Alone placed after Mo' Money, Mo' Murder on Doe or Die

• In The Long Run off Hell on Earth. Locked 2Pac and Keith Murray diss only listenable if unlocked via a PC.

• Jigga My Nigga and Girl’s Best Friend were included in the European version of Vol. 3…The Life and Times of S. Carter after Anything, I believe this to be the case on digital versions now too.

• People Talkin' at the end of Jay-Z’s Unplugged live album.

Get Rich is probably the first time I ever experienced this, although Killaz Theme is the top 1 hidden song.

It was so cool to pop in a CD and hear a song that wasn’t on the track listing. It was pretty rare back then, even more so now.
