Don’t know if this thread has been made yet or not but for those of you that don’t know, Anderson .Paak has a new album dropping soon. His albums so far have been named after famous California beaches like “Venice” and “Malibu”, his next album will also carry on that same tradition but this time will be named after his hometown “Oxnard” which was hinted in the Bubblin' music video. It will also act as the conclusion to his beach trilogy.

I am a huge Anderson .Paak fan. He’s probably one of my favorite artists of this decade so needless to say I’m definitely looking forward to this. My goals with this thread are to help provide updates regarding the album for those that are interested too. If you want to be tagged for something news related, please comment below and let me know and if any recent news about the album that I haven’t covered drops, feel free to post about it.

Review:
Good 1st single. Tbh I wasn’t the biggest fan of it when it first dropped but for some reason I ended up liking it even more after it was featured in the incredibly dope Apple ad with FKA Twigs. It sounds slightly different from what he’s done in the past, but in a good way. I love the subtle somber vibe that the track sort of gives off too. Anderson proves yet again that encompassing multiple genres and styles in his music is still his forte.

Review:
An amazing follow up single that features Anderson spitting pure fire. Also accompanied by what will most likely go down as my favorite music video of the year (just watch it if you haven’t seen it yet).

Not that I don’t like Anderson’s singing, but I would love to hear more songs from him on the new album with him rapping like this. I posted the song in our Discord server after it came out and @Bolly said it sounded like Tom & Jerry music (or something along those lines). I guess I can see that maybe turning some people off, but Imo I thought it sounded dope.
