IDK who Yeat is as a person, but all the conversation and promotion surrounding his music, as well as the music itself, has been this “haha, look at how crazy this guy is!” stuff

I mean, part of the appeal of Lil Pump, (as well as the rest of the soundcloud scene to differing extents), was that he put hype over everything, and unapologetically embraced all the things that critics and old heads might find “stupid” about rap music. He was like a walking middle finger.

Yeat seems to be trying to replicate that exact appeal. Moreso than other rappers of his style from the last year or so.

Actually, I guess I’m thinking more of the hype I’ve seen people try to prop up around him.

Music wise, he just sounds like a generic Thugger/Gunna type rapper over Uzi/Trippie type beats.
