[FRESH PICK] Rapper KOALA Recruits Jessi For Their Latest Club Anthem “RSVP”
Co-founder of the label Bobblehead Music and South Korean rapper KOALA returns with a new single featuring the one and only Jessi.
KOALA, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, record producer and co-founder of the record label Bobblehead Music. He is popularly known for his street style, hip-hop music which allows listeners to connect and vibe while singing their heart out.
Jessi, on the other hand, is known for her bold style, her stage presence, and her explosive rapping skills. Jessi’s ability to own the stage while she performs through her bubbly personality is what makes her shine.
The two artists have collaborated on the new single titled “RSVP,” a catchy and fun-filled song that is bound to gain lots of attention.
“RSVP” refers to the initials derived from the French phrase “Répondez s’il vous plaît” which means “respond if you please” which further refers to accepting an invitation. The song starts with the phrase “it’s cold outside, RSVP!” basically asking listeners to accept his invitation to his party.

The song describes the party scenes and shows how people are vibing and grooving to his beats. In the music video, we see KOALA sitting in a room full of lockers which contain a limited number of invitations. He says that nobody else can be him because he’s VIP. He further goes on to ask people to join his VIP gang by sending an RSVP.
Jessi’s verse is witty and clever, where she includes references to Barbie, and her past hit songs. She also name drops Margot Robbie, the actress who played Barbie in the movie. Through her lyrics she shows her sassy yet classy side. Another clever wordplay comes from Jessi as she rhymes “V-I-P” and “P-I-C,” in which “P-I-C” refers to a line from her viral song “ZOOM.”
Stream KOALA and Jessi’s song “RSVP” on all streaming platforms and sing along to it with lyrics on Genius!
