Take The Sun
Neroche Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

If you go away,
On a summer day,
Then you might as well,
Take the sun away

If you go away,
On a summer day,
Then you might as well,
Take the sun away

If you go away,
If you go away,
Then you might as well,
Take the sun away

If you go away,
If you go away,
Then you might as well,
Take the sun away

If you go away,
On a summer day,
Then you might as well
Take the sun away

If you go away,
On a summer day,
Then you might as well,
Then you might as well,

Take the sun away

If you go away,
On a summer day,
Then you might as well,
Take the sun away
If you go away,
On a summer day,
Then you might as well,
Take the sun away

If you go away,
On a summer day,
Then you might as well,
Take the sun away

If you go away,
If you go away,

They'll be nothing left
They'll be nothing left

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Neroche's song "Take The Sun" are a simple yet powerful plea to someone not to leave. The song begins with the line "if you go away, on a summer day," which sets the scene for a warm and bright day. However, the singer then warns "then you might as well, take the sun away." This line conveys the idea that the person leaving would take away all the brightness and warmth from the singer's life. The repetition of this line adds weight to the message, emphasizing how important this person is to the singer.

The next verse repeats the same theme; "if you go away, if you go away, then you might as well, take the sun away." This repetition adds to the solemnity of the message. The following lines "if you go away, on a summer day, then you might as well take the sun away" repeat again for a third time. This repetition of the central message reinforces the pain of the singer's loss, and how difficult it would be to move forward without the person they are addressing.

Guys please help, I’ve been going through different comment sections and this one seems to have fresh comments still. I’ve got a problem,
The thing is I totally know and love the feeling and voice vibe of these songs like these old songs and those indie songs with those really nice cover arts etc,I used to vibe with those songs so much, I feel like I’m been transported to another world by listening to those songs, they just have a different feeling that those main stream songs , idk if it’s because of the cover art or just the sound or both, the point I’m trying to make is that I used to always listen to these songs and I have a unique and nice taste in music and I could totally vibe with everyone in the comments of these songs,it just feels like we’re all so like minded people in the comments,

But lately I’ve been listening to more mainstream music and I like them, I’ve been listening to Kanye, and I love his music, like i said before I have a unique taste in music and even if Kanye is mainstream I like his music because I know his production is good and lyrics are good.and I also now enjoy mainstream rap artists.

My problem is that I’ve been listening to the mainstream artists for like months now and even tho I like it I miss when I used to listen to music like these, it just has an different vibe and it can transport you like no mainstream music can, so now I tried to get back into these types of music because I feel like I enjoy these old songs and Indie songs more than the mainstream more and I feel like when I’m listening to these types of music I have a more unique taste in music, I just wanna get back to these types of music, but for some reason every time I try these music I just don’t get the same feeling and vibe like I get before, I feel like it’s because ive been spoiled by mainstream music and idk if it’s because I feel like maybe these productions are bit underwhelming or the lyrics but I just don’t get the vibe and transported like before when I listen to these music, but I keep trying because I know deep down I enjoy these types of music more than the mainstream ones,

Idk if anyone else is going through that same thing I’m going through but if anyone has a solution on how I can get back into these types of music and have the same feeling like before please tell me,

I just wanna get transported and vibe again 😢,
Someone please help.

I typically scavage through old music, but when coming up to music of this genre, I'm blown away.
The cover photo intrigued me- and I definitely do not regret clicking it.

Not a patch on the Dusty Springfield version which is a masterpiece of fragility & tenderness sung with emotional sensitivity.
