So it was just like, I was just on one, I guess. In Queen of Broken Hearts, Blackbear speaks as a self-proclaimed queen who's damaged and melancholic. She's always the cause of pain, and will leave individuals broken-hearted (as she has many broken hearts) from her chaotic lifestyle. She mentions how people need to back away from her rapidly since she can't and does not want to be saved from the destructive path she has embarked on. She hates herself and regrets her actions, claiming that these actions are driving her down a dark route. She feels that she's not the lovely shooting star she once was, now broken and disengaging herself from everyone.
By popping pills, she feels relieved of the pressures that are weighing her down. It seems as if she's lost sight of what matters most in life, and all that's left to do is block people off (who try to help her), be ignorant, and sleep her life away. Blackbear's realization of the mistakes she's made in the past has led to her self-examination and despair, reflecting on the abysmal state she's currently living in today.
