1. A dance/electro-rock band from Belgium
Formed in the summer of 2000, they won the Belgian National Humo Rock Rally which led to a live session on the Belgian Radio One and MTV equivalent. Later in 2002 they recorded the debut single 'Audience' with producer Teo Miller (Placebo - Nancy Boy). In 2006 they released their first full album 'Bring It On' (on the Skint label).
Dave Martijn was the temporary tour bassist for fellow Belgian band Soulwax whilst on the promotional tour for 'Any Minute Now' between 2004-2006.
Goose started out as a AC/DC cover band, but they quickly found their own agenda by absorbing great amount of synth into the musical system. Belgium is located just between France and Germany – and in the same manner, Goose are the sound of an intense duel between Kraftwerk and Daft Punk at a lay-by in the Benelux.

I've been looking around
It's gotten clear that I need to find
Some solid ground
Well I don't care too much for money
Darling neither do you
cnd after all
There ain't too much we stand to lose
I've played the game the best I could
cnd I had my fun
But in the end it's never enough
So don't tell no one
But I've packed every inch of the getaway car
For some place new
cnd I've been saving shotgun
For you
Sadie, won't you stay with me forever
Sadie, won't you stay
Sadie, won't you stay with me forever
Oh won't you stay
Through the cold wind and rain
You didn't doubt a thing
Standing tall through the darkest night
That road could bring
Well the sun might set in the rearview mirror
cll orange and red
But in the morning
It's gonna rise over those mountains ahead
Sadie, won't you stay with me forever
Sadie, won't you stay
cnd maybe, if we stick it out together
We'll find our way
Sadie, lead the way to our heaven
Sadie, lead the way
cnd maybe, in the midst of my endeavor
You're not all that far away...
Sadie, won't you stay with me forever
Sadie, won't you stay
My lady, you'll remain forever
So won't you stay
In "Lead the Way," Goose sings about a feeling of restlessness and the search for some stable ground in life. The singer has been going through the motions, playing the game as well as they could and having fun, but in the end, it's not enough. They need something more. They're ready to hit the road, leave everything behind, and start fresh in a new place. In this journey, they're not alone, as they've saved a spot for someone special, someone who embodies strength and courage in the face of adversity - Sadie. The singer sings of their appreciation for Sadie, who has been a constant supportive presence, someone who never lost faith in them. The lyrics express a desire for Sadie to stay, to be with the singer forever, and to lead the way to a new and better life, a paradise where they can find peace and happiness together.
Ultimately, "Lead the Way" could be interpreted as a love song or as a song about finding one's self. It evokes the desire for companionship, hope, and a fresh start. It's a song about leaving behind the past, taking a leap of faith, and embracing the unknown. It's about the search for meaning and purpose, and the importance of having someone to share the journey with.
