Rock/Pop Annotation Discussion, Going Forward
|
We had a really dope discussion about Rock/Pop annotations today, check out the video here and see the IRL faces of some of your best friends ever!
Some of the points we touched on (but need to discuss further because WOW there’s a lot to discuss):
What’s the difference between Rock/Pop and Rap?

There are many different types of annotation (background, lyrical analysis, musical aspect)
We also touched on how to research for Rock/Pop (wikias like Taylor Swift-opedia, fan tumblrs, twitter, artist website)
Brock brought up the good point of the SLA not being prominent, so he adds background information to the lyrics. Is this the solution? Should we fix the SLA to be more prominent?
In terms of the multiple
