The eighth track of the album has its roots from way back in 2019 after the Tranquilty Base Hotel + Casino tour. The band initially wanted to go back to recording after the tour and engaged in a session in late 2019 for which the band had an idea for a new record, but by the time sessions had begun, the idea “wasn’t there anymore”. A very early demo of ‘Hello You’ was one of the few things that survived beyond those sessions and resurfuced in the Butley Priory sessions in summer 2021.
