I’m really proud of this song. I wrote it with Finneas about a year ago now when I was in Los Angeles. And it’s kind’ve about. […] It’s funny because I write love songs but I’m not sure if I believe in true love or soulmates. I don’t believe in fairytale love in a lot of ways because if you look at the stats most people marry someone they unexpectedly met when they were 14 or someone from the same village. And what if the true love person lives on the other side of the world and you never meet them. Or what if they’re walking down the road right now and all you have to do is run outside and say ‘Oh my God, you are my person. I love you. The fact is chances are infinitesimally small. So I think love is really a combination of circumstance and compatibility and probably hard work. It’s just a chemical reaction of emotion that develops at a time. But that doesn’t mean it’s not powerful.

Bruno became one of my favorite artists after his music was recommended to me by my manager Danny back in 2017- we met for coffee in the summer of 18, talked for 2 hours, I got horribly sunburnt and we started writing songs whenever we were in the same city. Every day I spend with Bruno feels nothing like work and I am so proud of this song we wrote together. Hope you love it
