Solitary Lyrics

[Verse 1 - Kyle Mack]
Been dealing with this anxiety
All this pressure inside me
Impressing everyone but ain’t
Pressing me as priority
Crashing out, smashed the accord I’m moving accordingly
Hoarding these emotions now they slowly got a hold of me
No one to confide in I could use some confinement
Talking solitary or therapy on an own island
Weathering the storm I need a change in the climate
Pray I don’t become product of my own environment
Damn (damn) I’m starting to talk myself again (myself again)
When I be alone I feel like I’m my only friеnd
My own enemy is sometimеs my biggest fan
Ever look in the mirror and hate who on the other end
What’s the cost of happiness? Because I’ll pay the expense
I’ve been dancing with the devil and it’s getting intense
If God wasn’t on the other end I’d be convinced
No mirage this my rise nigga watch me ascend
Nigga, DREAM

[Verse 2 - Profess]
I make moves in my shoes while they snooze
Fuck fake views, I want money like old Jews
My aim right whether night, or daylight
Life’s a deck of cards, so you better play your game right
I dream big like faith did, in 96
I’m not to be fucked with, can’t be rubbed like your girl’s clit
No impediment, Y'all verbally unfit
It’s going down in this bitch, like it’s unzipped
I gave myself the jacket of course the coat fits
So don’t throw fits, be man instead throw fists
I’m Profess on fire like stoves lits
I’m about investments, owning homes, grown shit
No days off, lackadaisical mentality
I quit my job, no minimum wage salary
These are late hours, a product of what faith caused
I hustle music, clean tracks, that’s my chores

Genius Annotation

Solitary is a song trying to capture the feeling of growing and bubbling anxiety, bottled up emotions, All while trying to capture a dream still.

The song went through so many iterations and sequences but short and simple was the way to go. Kyle and Chris did a phenomenal job bringing the vision to life lyrically, and Erik brought his A-Game to the guitar (as he always does).

Incredible talents and people.
