Verse 1
Yeah I got a quick hand
Yeah I got a good hand
And If I play my cards right
One day you will finally understand
My story remains unknown
You look right through me like bullet holes
But that's alright It's okay, I'll bring you to your knees
But I'm not the one to who you should be praying
I mean
A guy like me you would not suspect
See the smile on my face but the rage it's insane and keeps remaining undetected
I keep it locked up in a case beneath my bed
That I lay on at night thinking of what's ahead
There is truth when you say that this year is going to be the end
I'm willing to do whatever it takes
Go to great lengths
I Fight for my cause
Ya you best be alarmed
I feel it taking over
Like it consumed me truly
Filled but fuelled by the hatred
At some point I'm going to need to release
It out on you fools
This hell known as school
Leave you in a pool of blood as I watch the life drain out of you
Man I would love to see what I leave in the aftermath
A lone wolf yeah I stray from the pack
I seek what is owed and now the targets on your back
Chorus
All the other kids
Better watch out
Better lace up
Don't get caught in my sights
Because the time has come
Yeah The countdown is done
Y'Outta start running
Could be the end of your life
X2
Verse 2
Here we go, judgment day
Has arrived, got one try
This shit right here's Columbine, late spring of '99
Got the Cig in my mouth blowing smoke just like this gun of mine
I look you right into the eye
Click of a trigger doesn't leave you time to say goodbye
Damn I feel so alive
Pack my back for one last time and it is stuffed
I've had enough
I wonder what it's like to be loved
Dog days came early this year it's been rough
'Bout to light em up
Everything is settled
Take a breath, last shell in the clip
God I hope at least one person is taking a video
Gotta somehow relive this shit
Paint the floors red
I said blood pouring out from the head
No regrets, if I had the chance I'd do it all over again
Your a number not a name
I'm a savage
I'm a fucking savage
No other way I'm having it
Woooh!!!
The deal is done
So it has begun
Half past one
Let's see the sum
Score of 13 shouldn't be too hard to beat, m4 bringing the heat
Line em up in the hallway get me off on a good streak
By the time they arrive it'll be too late
Leave the ambulance, save a trip
And tell the coroner it's going to be a long shift
Bus can rest today's ride home will be in a hearse
Got my plan plotted out just like this verse well rehearsed
Hope for the best but prepare for the worst 🙏
Chorus
Bridge
NO, YOU GOD DAMN LITTLE BITCH ASS PIECE OF SHIT DO NOT
EVER FUCK WITH ME AGAIN YOU FAGGOT ASS BITCH. IF YOU DO I SWEAR
I WILL FREAKING KILL YOU
IMMA PULL OUT A GOD DAMN SHOTGUN AND BLOW YOUR DAMN HEAD OFF, DO YOU UNDERSTAND?
YOU LITTLE WORTHLESS PIECE OF CRAP
Yeah that's right, you heard us
I can't wait to see you at school tomorrow
Better not be late motherfucker
Haha
Outro
Yeah for real though
You don't want anyone to snap
So watch the fuck out
Swine
About
Bio
‘99, short for 1999 is a remix of Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks” turned into a diss track and a part of the “eXe series” dubbed as “X@MP0L”. The year signifies not only the year I was born but coincidently it is the same year which the Columbine High School Massacre occurred which is a direct tie to “Pumped Up Kicks”, sharing the same theme of a school shooter. The remix turns it into a rap song with my own take on the beat and most importantly, changed the song into my point of view. The name “X@MP0L” comes from being part of the “X Series”, a compilation of diss tracks where the title is a word that starts with “ex” shortened down to X with all letters being capitalized and swapped out for numbers and symbols. Example comes from making an example out of someone meaning to teach someone a lesson and makes others not do what they did or the same thing will happen to them. This all adds up to me shooting up my school making an example out of those who attend it. Later on in the song, it’s uncovered that the example is also setting an example of those who share my situation and is a call to follow in my footsteps. Further on as a stretch, “example” is full for “exam” which occurs in a school but the point is that the “exam” here is to survive and is the biggest one you’ll be facing for a while.
