“Confetti” serves as the title track to Little Mix’s sixth studio album. The song is a celebratory self-empowerment anthem that sees the girls move on from a toxic relationship, a theme explored throughout the album in tracks such as “Break Up Song” and “Happiness.”
A remix of the song featuring a guest verse from American rapper Saweetie was released as the final single from the era in April 2021. This reworked version includes newly recorded vocals by Little Mix, replacing Jesy Nelson’s, as she had left the group to focus on her mental health in December 2020. MNEK, the song’s producer, confirmed that Jesy’s vocals were totally out of the remix through a tweet.
