“2 in a million” is a collaboration between Steve Aoki, Sting, and SHAED. The song is about someone expressing their feelings of love toward another person.

In an interview with iHeartRADIO, the trio shared their experience working together. They stated that Steve, being the production manager, gave SHAED and Sting lots of freedom to change things around. Sting was also originally a rock artist and stated that the transition into pop-EDM was a little difficult for him.

The artists weren’t able to get much social involvement since the song was created digitally and the artists never met in person. Nonetheless, the trio enjoyed the experience and wished to be able to collaborate more in the future.
