In Popstar, main character Conner4Real decides to propose to his girlfriend as a publicity stunt. While he does this, Seal sings this song over a string orchestra.
Seal’s singing agitates a group of “party wolves” that Conner hired for the event. Rage causes the wolves to break free and roam around, which leads to everyone fleeing the scene. While Conner and Ashley get in a helicopter, they signal for Seal to get in, who then seems to be overpowered by a wolf. The singer quickly bounces back. He continues to jokingly states he is experienced, and that the scars on his face are a result of previous fights with wolves. In actuality, the scars are a side effect of lupus. He is then attacked by another wolf while the helicopter flies away. After the event, it is shown Seal has an eye injury and is suing Conner4Real.
Later in the movie, once Ashley and Conner have broken up, a magazine cover is shown featuring a headline that says Ashley and Seal are now dating.
