Genius Partners With Fuse Media For New ‘Genius x Fuse’ TV Series

The first episode debuts on March 18 with Alicia Keys, 2 Chainz, & Kendrick Lamar producer Hit-Boy.

Genius is partnering with Fuse Media to bring Genius' popular video content to broadcast television for the first time. Titled Genius x Fuse, the weekly TV series will include 10 episodes and premiere Wednesday, March 18 at 11 PM Eastern / 10 PM Central on Fuse.

Each episode will feature a special introduction by Rob Markman, Genius' VP of Content Strategy, and showcase the best of Genius' hit series, including Verified, Deconstructed, and For The Record With Rob Markman. Known for being Genius' flagship series, Verified features top artists explaining the lyrics and meaning behind their biggest songs, while Deconstructed finds producers breaking down the making of their hits. For The Record is a weekly talk show hosted by Genius' VP of Content Strategy Rob Markman featuring interviews with some of the most popular artists and music industry insiders.

The premiere episode of Genius x Fuse features Alicia Keys breaking down her latest hit, “Underdog,” on Verified; 2 Chainz discussing his new music label T.R.U. on For The Record; and producer Hit-Boy explaining how Kendrick Lamar’s “Backseat Freestyle” was made on Deconstructed.
