It comes off the former Migos rapper’s new album ‘SET IT OFF.’

Offset returns today with SET IT OFF, a star-studded album featuring the likes of Chlöe, Latto, Future, and the rapper’s A-list wife, Cardi B. Also, Travis Scott, who turns up on “SAY MY GRACE,” the new track that debuted the highest on the Genius Top Songs chart. It’s sitting just inside the Top 40—though it would probably be ranked higher were it not for Bad Bunny totally dominating things with songs from his latest, nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana.

Produced by Offset in collaboration with FNZ, Maneesh, and Vinylz, “SAY MY GRACE” has been kicking around for months. Offset and Travis performed the song at Rolling Loud Thailand back in April. The song finds the former Migos rapper thanking—but also questioning—the Almighty in the aftermath of numerous tragedies, including the November 2022 murder of his bandmate Takeoff.

The song opens with the chorus, wherein Offset is humble but also kind of not.

Make room on my plate, I just said my grace and then I ate
Got a particular taste
I just stuffed my pockets and my face

In the first verse, Offset references the death of Takeoff and the passing of his grandmother. He’s looking for answers that are probably never going to come.

Had to part ways with the sad vibes, bad guy
You might be a villain today (Villain today, hey)
Ask God, why I didn’t get a answer? (Why?)
Why I lose my brother to bullets? (Why?)
Why I lose my grandma to cancer? (Why?)

He looks beyond himself in the subsequent lines and wonders why systemic racism persists—and why he keeps getting opportunities that others don’t.

Why me, God? I need answers (Why?)
Why young niggas straight out Atlanta? (Why?)
Why the judge and the cops tryna jam us? (Why?)
Why I keep getting all of these chances? (Why?)
Why me, God? I need answers (Hey)

The second verse goes to Travis, who takes a quick break from talking about money to pay his respects to Takeoff.

Want a B, then you gotta have faith (Ooh)
I’m in a meditate state
Ever since we lost bro, ain’t really much more I can Take
I pop a ten when it’s late, momma told me to pray

“SAY MY GRACE” arrives with a music video featuring Offset and Travis chilling in Thailand, taking in the sights and sounds.
