This Week On Genius highlights all the dope stuff that’s happened in the Genius Community in the past week. It drops every Monday and includes stuff like hot annotations, dope scribes, cool articles, fresh editors, and those up and coming users who might not be on your radar yet. If you have any suggestions on what should be included, send it to a community staffer before Sunday and one of us will make sure we include it :)

Fire transcriptions

XXXTENTACION came through on Friday with his second studio album, ?—s/o @Jafar, @WaterGod, @ojstrawberry, @rxvenge, @J-Bankrollz, and @2xbias for transcribing all of the lyrics.

DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9” are also back with PRhyme 2, the follow-up to their 2014 collaborative debut. All of the lyrics are live on Genius thanks to @Astral8, @Drew_Harvie, @ShadyToDeath, @VashTheGenius, @dgrey1252, @SebastianKJ, @Chris_Mench, @ChloeConlon, and @xHem9!

One of my personal new favorite rappers, Saweetie just dropped her debut EP, High Maintenance. S/O @bodakpink, @silkysoftgal, @BabieeFace, and @WriteNProppa for getting all the lyrics up.

Also wanted to give a special shoutout to @roofy and @Yiybrid, who both helped out with the transcription of Flourgon’s “We Run Things.” We didn’t have the lyrics up at all before Thursday, even though the song was featured in a lawsuit against Miley Cyrus and her 2013 hit, “We Can’t Stop.”
