Tell all, spill gut
Off the veil, stand revealed
Show the cards, bring it on, break the seal
And see the man who told the truth
Pierce the apple skin
You bit more than you need
Now you’re choking on the bad seed
On the bad seed
Choking
Confess, cast off
At the mercy, the cat is out
Drop the disguise, spit it up, spit it out
I give you “He Who Suffers the Truth”
Pierce the apple skin
You bit more than you need
Now you’re choking on the bad seed
Choking on the bad seed
Bring it on, break the seal
At the mercy, cat is out
Spit it up, spit it out
Spit it up, spit it out
Spit it out now
Pierce the apple skin
You bit more than you need
Choking on the seed
Pierce the apple skin
You bit more than you need
Now you’re choking on the bad seed
Bring it on, break the seal
At the mercy, cat is out
Spit it up, spit it out
Spit it up, spit it out
Spit it out now

Don't bite off more than you could chew.

Personally, I believe the song is about the general collective greed of man. Everyone always wants and wants and wants. Then they get it all and find out they can't handle it ("You Bit More Than You Need"), thereby choking on it ("Now You're Choking On A Bad Seed"). This song means a lot to me and I feel that I have witnessed and suffered a lot of people's greed. Which is why I got the song name "Bad Seed" tattooed on my arm with the Metallica ninja star.

in the song at 2:32 it sounds like james says 'happy birthday'...

Maybe the song refers to the bible story about "Adam and Eve".

lookkie is right....it is based on the adam and ever bible story and a certain quote represnents it greatly After they ate a fruit from the tree of wisdom they realized the truth and they recongnized shame, fear, pain.

Crank up the volume on this one, there's nothing like raw power cords the send shivers down your spine. AS for the lyrics, I'm with Kookkie.

whoah never thought of that

Romans 5
Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ
12Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned-- 13for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken into account when there is no law. 14Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come. 15But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! 16Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. 17For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. 18Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men. 19For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. 20The law was added so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, 21so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

ya its gotta do something with that or like when adam n eve took a bite of the forbideden apple or whatever

Well, this song is about when a man finishes in your mouth and blows his load (expunging his seed) and the load of seed tastes bad and you choke on the bitter taste, and this shit about the noose is about getting hung for performing fellatio since it is still illegal in many nations
@hawkgamerx98 comical way to look at it, but I don't feel that this was the intended message ... but each to their own I suppose :)
