Love Song, take one

I love you,
I'm not coming back, bitch
I think I should say something
I can't see, I can't feel anything
I can't, I can't
Wash my face
Cut out my teeth and tell me to grin
My gums are bleeding
My gums are bleeding

I hate you
I hate you

Get a fucking haircut
Go fuck yourself
Rae Dawn Chong
Rae Dawn Chong
Rae Dawn Chong
Rae Dawn Chong
Rae Dawn Chong

Get something, get, get them, get them
Get them, get the fuckin' midget
Get the midget, get the midget
Get the fuckin' midget
"Where the deer and antelope play"

Kiss the midget
Kiss the midget
Kiss the midget
Kiss the midget

That was perfect, you guys, that was great

I'm laughing at people who say it ruins the album. Sean Kinney is fucking hilarious.

Best song AIC ever made. If there's ever a song to introduce people to AIC with, it's definitely this one.

    Kiss the midget!

As many people think, this song is not pointless at all. There is a reason why they put this song at the end of SAP. This is Alice's view on relationship songs, and how they are pointless.I'll enterpit the song and show you what I mean. Also, this could be Sean's view on relationships since he wrote this song. (Spoken)Love song take one

(Through Megaphone)I love you, I'm not coming back bitch

(the person just broke up with the individual and is not comming back, even though he has feelings for the ex)

I think I should say something

    I can't see, I can't feel anything, I can't I can't

(When people just dump you on the spot, they often do not know how to feel or what to do)

Wash my face, cut out my teeth and tell me to grin

(This so called girlfriend was telling him what to do, stop doing this, play dumb and smile(IE having a false personality)

MY GUMS ARE BLEEDING! MY GUMS ARE BLEEDING!

(I've smiled so much that MY GUMS ARE BLEEDING)

I hate you, I hate you

(Stop telling me what to do, I hate you bitch)

Get a fucking haircut! Go fuck yourself

(Stop acting like your hot shit and wake up to reality)

    Rae Dong Chung

Get something, get, get them, get them Get them, get the fuckin' midget Get the midget Get the fuckin midget Kiss the fuckin' midget

(Metaphor for how relationships are small and stupid, and they are trying to figure out a point out of this relationship)

"Where the deer and antelope play..." (I'd rather be a animal and live "where the dear and antelope play", in some false reality world when EVERYONE GETS ALONG)

    Kiss the midget

After Writing songs like Got Me Wrong and Am I Inside, I say that this is a great way to end SAP. It views how the bandmembers where ultimately effected by relationships for the worse, and they really didnt get some meaning out of relationships.

this is just fucking meaningless. haha! when i first listened to Sap, i least expected this to be the fifth track, since every other song on there was a bit depressing and mostly acoustic. this added a bit of humor to the album. hilarious stuff.

ice, your lyrics suck. its IRON GLAND!!!!! these are the chords cantrell would play on his guitar to annoy his band mates. he said if he could put it on a cd, then he would never play it again, and thats what happened.

Sorry for the double post, but I found this to support my conclusion.

"The unmentioned song at the end of Sap was unscheduled and according to Sean, "due to acid." Sean sings, Layne plays drums, Jerry plays piano and bass, and Mike Starr plays the guitar."

Corpse I Fell In Love With
Gadjits, The
He reuses the verse melody from the previous album's "Dirty Little Religion", the topics of the verses are all over the place, and he packs too many words into one line (goes to show...) and too few in another (it's pretty hard to find), and rhymes "Henley Regatta" with "Persona non grata", but gets away with it all as only he could.

Battle Royale
Word Alive, The
This song is def a twin to "Unfair" (a song she has been quoted as saying is about falling in love with someone who is already in a relationship) so it is presumably about the same person. Given the references to buying an apartment and not being able to see her love interest "after tonight," it's most likely that she's moving away and she'll "wait a day to break the bad news" (i.e. notifying him that she's leaving once she's already gone). And, of course, the fact that she sees in him a fellow "idealist" and "dreamer" (terms commonly given to people with the INFP personality on the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)) portends that she'll always be left wondering if they would've been perfect together.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
